Bad Miiverse Posts
On May 18, 2013, Daniel Switzer created the Twitter feed @BadMiiversePost. Its title is description of what is tweeted from this feed: “Bad Miiverse Posts”.
Its first tweet was “is there any option to enhance the graphics”, which was posted on a Miiverse community related to the SNES game Super Mario World.
As of December 18, 2013, the feed has over twelve thousand followers.
Criticism over Moderation
The rules on Miiverse are somewhat harsh; for example, you cannot post Friend Codes there (despite people posting them on just about every other related site on the internet). Googling “miiverse ban” shows plenty of results from people who got banned from Miiverse, with the opinion that they were banned unfairly. Also, Googling “miiverse mods” shows a few results of people criticising the moderation on Miiverse. On December 16, 2013, slipstream created a website, VerseCrypt to encrypt messages, with its intended purpose to encrypt things like Friend Codes before posting them on Miiverse so they could “hopefully stay up longer”.
