Big Rigs Over The Road Racing is a 3D racing game developed in 2003 by the video game company Stellar Stone. In which the player is supposedly described to have haul illegal cargo while avoiding police, all of which is NOT at all in actual game-play.
The game is notorious for it’s broken unfinished game play, lack of physics, pre-alpha game-play, and it’s engrish catchphrase “YOU’RE WINNER !”.
Origin
Californian video game development company Stellar Stone founded in 2000, making many poorly designed video games. The company usually outsourced games to Russia with low-budget.
They published Big Rigs, along with many games such as:
- Taxi Racer,
- Remington Big Buck Trophy Hunt,
- Ultimate Civil War Battles,
- Total Pinball,
- Midnight Race Club Supercharged!,
- Total Mahjongg.
The company became defunct in 2006, with Big Rigs being their most-known title.
Spread
In 2004. Gamespot reviewer Alex Navarro published a review of the game, stating it’s it’s broken game-play and poor design. Which led to many finding out about the game. A Youtube video review of the game was uploaded in 2012 by ClassicGamespotRevs.
In 2010, Youtube user Penguinz0 uploaded a game-play and commentary video of Big Rigs. Which as of today, has over 1 million views
In 2011, the sarcastic website “You’re Winner” was created for ironic Big Rigs fans and many others who ironicly play horrid video games.
in 2014, internet reviewer The Angry Video Game Nerd uploaded a long-awaited review of Big Rigs to Youtube. Stating it’s poor design, and lack of game-play.
The AVGN also uploaded a fake commercial taken from the review on the same year.
Ironic fandom.
Big Rigs is known for it’s ironic fandom known as BROTTRs, which tend to post on the You’re winner website, and talk positive about the game for ironic reasons.

“YOU’RE WINNER!” is an engrish typo used on the game’s winning screen in which the game shows a three-handled trophy with the catchprhase “YOU’RE WINNER !”. The term tends to be used as an alternative version of “A winner is you”.
