About
I will find you and I will kill you, also known as the Taken meme is a memorable quote from 2008 thriller movie Taken. Online, it has been reused in image macros as a reaction towards anything that could trigger the urge of wanting to kill someone.
Origin
The line itself is uttered by Bryan Mills (played by Liam Neeson) in 2008 thriller film Taken while being on the phone with the people who kidnapped his daughter. An extract from the scene was uploaded to Youtube on April 4th 2009 (shown below), gaining more than 800 000 views in the first five years.
The full transcript says:
I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don’t have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that’ll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.
