About

Giffany is a pixelated video game character from the Disney animated TV series Gravity Falls. On the series her appearance has been linked with a yandere personality and the unique barette she wears.

Origin

Giffany first appeared on the fifth episode of Gravity Falls’ second season: Soos and the Real Girl, being voiced by Jessica DiCicco and animated by famed pixel animator, Paul Robertson. On the epsiode, Soos Ramirez, buys a dating simulator game to help him talk to girls and get a date on his cousin party, but Giffany gets jelaous when Soos talks to other girls and soon tries to “eliminate competition”.^[2] The epsiode, first premiered on September 22nd, 2014, was well recieved, getting arround 0.8 million viewers on its premiere and a 8,7 rating on IMBd.^[3][4]
