Thot Walk is a vine fad based on a song of the same name, the dance consists of a bouncy type walk “when you see a thot”[1] (slang for hoe), the song is often interpolated with videos of odd walks.
Origin
The original video consists of a male dancing on the streets while his friends clap singing “thot walk”, the video was uploaded on April 6, 2014.
On June 10, 2014 a remix of the video was made by rapper Kayleb, John Boy & Yung Cyph which became a viral hit.
On August 5, 2014 a music video of the song was uploaded, which consists of the 3 rappers performing the thot walk on a basketball court while showcasing vines that used the song in the past.

On Jun 12, 2014 a tutorial on how to do the “Thot Walk” was uploaded by MarQuis Trill, the video features a more extensive dance than the one in the original music video.
On July 15, 2014 vine user Anwar Jibawi uploaded a vine dressed as a “thot” while walking on a threadmill using the song which got 19 million loops and 3,231.000 revines
On July 2, 2014 a vine compilation video featuring multiple girls dancing to the song (shown below left) and in July 13, 2014 a compilation of vines featuring people doing odd walks interpolated with the song was uploaded (shown below right)
