About
“Kill it before it lays eggs!” is a popular catchphrase used to playfully express disgust and repulse often used in image macros.
Origin
The origin of this meme is unknown, but it’s was around for a long time, no one really knows where and when the cartchphrase was first used but it’s safe to say it is most likely originated from the 80’s when there was a large wave of alien horror movies in which the cretures typically were abled to quickly multiply by laying eggs.
Usage
The meme is ofren used in reaction to someone/something disgusting and scary, and also in image macros, typically, also, in pictures of something repulsive or scary or plain wierd jokingly implying that the picture is inhuman. it’s usage is quite similar to “this is not even my final form!” image macro.
This meme however, is rather different from the ‘Kill it with fire!’ because the latter usually is expressed a a negative phenomenon, a bad group, and usually used to express hatered, unlike this meme which is focused more around humerous repulse and disgust.
