/k/ is 4chan’s weapons board. Although guns are primarily topic, military-related and other weapons threads are permitted. Users of this board are often referred as “/k/ommandos”.
History
/k/ was first added to 4chan on September 8, 2004, alongside two other boards: /o/ (Auto), and /sm/ (Shota/Male).

While not originating in /k/, the term tacticool is widely used across the board. It often refers to guns with unnecessary and redundant attachments.
/k/, a magical place | /k/ humor
/k/ humor refers to /k/ jokes relating to military and gun humor. Associated images are commonly have the phrase “/k/, a magical place” edited onto them. “/k/ humor” threads are regularly made on /k/, similarly to You Laugh, You Lose threads in /b/.
Zergface
Zergface is an exploitable image originating from /k/. To this day, it is still commonly used as an reaction image on /k/
/k/ube | Murder Cube
The /k/ube (alternatively referred as Murder Cube) is a gun sculpture in the Prince of Whales Armory Museum located in Edmonton, Canada. It is often considered by the “Mecca of /k/”, being praised with phrases such as “Glory be to the Murder Cube”. [4]
