h3h3 Productions is a YouTube channel run by spouses Ethan and Hila Klein along with their friend, Sean. Most videos revolve around Ethan reacting to various YouTube videos, typically either pranks or hip hop artists.
Origin
The channel uploaded it’s first video entitled “Wiping” on March 13, 2013 (shown below). As of June 2015 the channel has nearly 150,000 subscribers and over 20 million total views.[1]
Online Relevance
As of June 2015, the two most viewed videos, entitled “Kissing Pranks” (shown below, left) and “warm it up exe That’s a 10!” (shown below, right) have over and near 3 million views respectively.
The theme song used for the h3h3 Productions intro was created by Soundcloud music producer Major League Wobs (shown below).
On January 24, 2015 YouTuber and montage parody producer Snipars uploaded a video titled “Lets_Do_More_Dancing.mp4” which featured several clips of Ethan dancing (shown below).
On YouTube there are various mashups and remixes of h3h3’s theme song, as well as various elements of h3h3 videos, such as Ethan coughing.[4] On September 17, 2014 YouTuber GladysFreak uploaded a remix of many aspects of h3h3 videos (shown below, left). On April 20, 2015 YouTuber Ollie White uploaded a dubstep cough compilation (shown below, right).
On Soundcloud there are other various mashups and remixes, including at least one Death Grips mashup. [5]
On Tumblr there are various posts tagged under “h3h3”.[2] On DeviantArt there are several pieces of artwork about of Ethan Klein tagged under “h3h3productions”.[3]
